How does it work?

Positioning a severely contracted hand is extremely challenging.  Prying the fingers open is difficult and can cause severe pain to the patient and injury to the hand.

The Carrot Orthosis System  is the first of its kind to offer an alternative  to forcibly prying open contracted fingers. The Antimicrobial- treated Blue Carrot solves the toughest hand contracture problems. 

• Pull the Carrot Orthosis into the Hand using the Wand - this positions the fingers away from the palm to protect the skin
• Smooth cotton cover packed with washable , absorbent wool fleece to help keep the hand cool and dry.
