This model was developed following a request from the IDF.When evacuating a mass casualty event, the need for a stretcher that can be carried by one person only is crucial. Our special mechanism also enables a smooth descending and mounting in stairs without any bumps transmitted to the patient.
When selecting stretchers, the primary concerns for emergency teams are size and weight. To this aim, we developed our flagship state-of-the art 8 fold stretcher, The EMSCompact Stretcher - the lightest, most compact and flexible stretcher available in the market today.
It is a revolution in Emergency Medical Equipment Engineering, which makes it the perfect stretcher for the whole range of EMS sectors:
- Weighing only 5.0kg (11lbs)
- Folding into amazingly small 50cm (19.7in) in height
- Slips neatly into its matching backpack case
- Easily stored in facilities, vehicles and helicopters
- Easy to use - folding and extending it in approximately 7-10 seconds
- While the wheels 'roll' down the stairs, the stretcher doesn't suffer any bumps since the weight is now on the sliding part.
- The slope of the stretcher remains the same and the stretcher doesn't suffer any bumps.
- The sliding part slide on the edge of the stair until the wheels reach the next stair.
- The weight is on the sliding device, the wheels are in the air.
- The patient's legs are inserted into the legs pocket in order to prevent him sliding forward.
